This page explains how to delete your Al Madinah Meat Market account (Android package com.zentro.madinameat, published by Al Madinah Premium Halal Meat Market) and what happens to your data when you do. It applies alongside our Privacy Policy.
How to delete your account
Option 1 — In the app (fastest)
- Open the app and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Delete my account.
- Confirm when prompted.
Your account is deleted immediately. This runs on our servers the moment you confirm it and cannot be undone.
Option 2 — By email or WhatsApp (if you can't access the app)
Send a request from the email address or phone number your account uses to:
- Email: contact@almadinahmeatmarket.com with the subject "Delete my account", or
- WhatsApp: +92 315 2903994, sent from your registered number.
We will verify it is you and complete the deletion within 30 days.
Before you delete
- Finish or cancel anything in progress first. An order still being prepared or delivered, a booking that has not happened yet, or a refund still being processed must be completed or cancelled before the account can be deleted. The app will tell you if something is still open. A booking that is still pending can be cancelled from the booking tracker.
- Unused store credit is lost. Store credit has no cash value and cannot be recovered once the account is deleted.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, the following is permanently removed:
- Your sign-in account (email, password and confirmed phone number).
- Your profile: name, email and phone number.
- Your saved delivery addresses, including any map locations saved with them.
- Your favourites.
- Your notification (push) tokens.
- Your preferences (theme, preferred payment method, notification and offers settings).
- Your payment screenshots and anything else you uploaded.
- Your store credit balance.
What is kept, and why
Some records are not deleted, but are stripped of anything that identifies you and shown as "Deleted customer":

| Suspended phone number (only if the shop had suspended your account) | A one-way scrambled form of the phone number is kept. It cannot be turned back into your number and is not linked to your name or orders. | Deleted automatically after 12 months | Lets the shop know if a suspended customer opens a new account with the same number. An account that was never suspended leaves nothing like this behind. |
No screen or export in the app can link these records back to you, because the identifying fields are removed from the records themselves, not just hidden.
We also keep anonymous, aggregated usage and crash statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics) for at most 14 months. They are not linked to your name.
How long deletion takes
- In-app deletion: immediate.
- Email/WhatsApp request: verified and completed within 30 days of your request.
