This disclaimer applies to the Al Madinah Meat Market mobile app (package com.zentro.madinameat), operated by Al Madinah Premium Halal Meat Market, Karachi, Pakistan ("we", "us", "the shop"), and should be read together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Halal sourcing

We source and represent our products as halal to the best of our knowledge and sourcing practices. While we take care in sourcing and slaughter, we make no representation that our processes meet any specific third-party halal certification standard unless a certificate is expressly displayed in the App for a given product or service. If halal compliance to a particular standard is essential to you, please contact us before ordering or booking.

Product information and images

• Weights, cuts and prices shown in the catalogue are as accurate as we can make them at the time of listing, but natural product variation means an actual cut may differ slightly in weight or appearance from what is pictured.
• Product images in the catalogue may include brand artwork/labels rather than a photograph of the specific item, where a real product photograph has not yet been taken; we are working to replace these with real photography over time. This does not change what you will receive — the name, weight and description remain accurate.
• Nutritional or health information, where shown in a recipe, is provided for general informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional dietary or medical advice.

Delivery and time estimates

Delivery-time estimates, booking slot availability, and preparation timelines shown in the App are best-effort estimates, not guarantees. Actual timing can be affected by order volume, weather, traffic, courier availability, and, for bookings, factors related to live-animal handling and butcher scheduling (particularly around Eid and other high-demand periods).

Slaughter, Eid sacrifice and related religious services

Bookings for halal slaughter, Eid sacrifice, charity, Zakat and newborn celebration goats involve the handling of live animals by our appointed butchers. We take reasonable care in selecting and assigning butchers and in the conduct of the service, but the nature of the service means it cannot be treated as a standard retail transaction — availability of specific animals, weights, and exact timing can vary and are communicated to you as part of the booking confirmation.

Payments and third-party providers

JazzCash, EasyPaisa and bank transfers are made by you in the provider's own app, and are then confirmed by our staff from the screenshot you upload. We are not responsible for outages, delays, or errors in a provider's own systems, or for a transfer sent to the wrong account. Always check the account details shown at checkout before you send money. A dispute about how a transfer was processed may also need to be raised with your provider directly, as well as with us.

Third-party infrastructure

The App is built on Google Firebase (authentication and SMS phone confirmation, database, file storage, analytics, crash reporting and push notifications). We are not responsible for outages or issues originating from Google Cloud infrastructure that are outside our control, though we will do what we reasonably can to keep the App available and your data safe.

User-generated content

Reviews (of products and services) and support messages are written by customers, not by us. We moderate (and may hide) reviews that violate our Terms of Service, but we do not independently verify the accuracy of every opinion expressed in a review, and such opinions do not necessarily reflect our own views.

"As is" basis

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we work to keep it accurate, functional and available, we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of defects, and we disclaim all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. See Terms of Service §10 for the limitation of our liability.

Nothing in the App — including recipes, product descriptions, or support responses — constitutes medical, dietary, religious, or legal advice. For matters requiring such advice, please consult an appropriately qualified professional.
